Why did you study your career?

Hi! this is my second post, in this oportunity I will tell you the story of how I decided to study chemistry and pharmacy and a little about my experience at university.

When I was a child I used to have the idea of been a bus driver or supermarket cashier.

During primary school I liked the maths and natural science subjects but never tought of study anything until I finished my primary education, at this time I "decided" study commercial engineering, the reason for this "decision" was beacause I liked the maths .

In high school my taste for science increased, especially for chemistry, during these four years I found many options to study, some of them were: chemistry, chemistry and pharmacy, biochemistry, engineering in biotechnology, pedagogy in chemistry, among others; and every time I attended a university fair added a new career to the list. In my last year as student I did not know what to study!. Another option was to listen to my parents and study medicine or laws, but never consider those careers.

I finally decided to study chemistry and pharmacy, the reasons were simple, I liked the chemistry and it was close to the health area, the career had high employability and a good salary.

When I was sending my application, my insecurity returned and I asked if I really wanted to study this career but I thought for a moment and sent my application.

Fortunately, until now I feel that I was not wrong in choosing the chemistry and pharmacy career, I am currently in second year, although it has cost me a little I feel that I like it. I have met incredible people with whom I share every day, we laugh, we study and we cry jaja. Up to now it has been a great challenge and a great experience.

If I think of the future, again, I do not know what to do! I would like to have a job in an area that I like (I still do not know what it is, but the clinical area and industry area draws my attention) and with a good salary.

Thanks for read my blog!
