I will talk to Galen.
Galen was born in Pergamum, in 129. Galen, from a very young age, became interested in a wide variety of subjects, agriculture, architecture, astronomy, astrology, philosophy, until the moment he concentrated on medicine.

Thus, at the age of twenty Galen became Therapeutes (disciple or partner) of the god Asclepius in the Asclepius of Pergamum for four years, where he would begin his medical studies.
Galen would complete his studies in Alexandria, Egypt, the ancient capital of the Ptolemy and main cultural center of the Mediterranean. Galen would learn here the importance of anatomical and physiological studies for medicine.
Some contributions of galen were:
-He showed blood flowing through the arteries, not air (as Erasistratus and Herophilus thought).
-He described various infectious diseases, such as the plague of the years 165-170 and its spread.
-He gave great importance to the methods of preservation and preparation of drugs, which is the current basis of galenic pharmacy.
I decided to talk about Galen since he was a doctor who made great contributions to the area of pharmacy.
I think you should have put a photo with Galeno. He is all days in the faculty with us jaja
